My thoughts? I'm getting too old... How the heck did 5 years pass already? You have to ask yourself what were you doing and if you're wasting your life away.

Wow, I'm getting old. . And I do have to agree on everyone saying 2017 was lame and it most definitely was. It's not a year to be fondly remembered.

Omg I didn’t know 2017 had so much hate lol. I can’t hate it because it’s the year I graduated high school so it feels somewhat special to me. My first year as an adult. Personally it was ok, but it’s definitely the year of the late 10s that sticks out the least to me. 2018 and 2019 were nice upgrades
2017 doesn’t feel like that long ago at all when looking at footage or movies or tech, but when I think of things from that year I realize how long ago it actually was. Also compared side by side to 2022 and things get obviously different. It’s one of those years that feel not too recent but not too dated. The way 2009 kinda felt in 2013/14

2017 was a great year. For pop culture the first half was good when Coldplay and Chainsmokers song "Something Just Like This" was popular which was one of the best popular songs of the decade and when "Despacito" came out and fidget spinners became the new thing. But the second half of the pop culture wasn't great since you heard a lot more mumble rap and trap and the music just wasn't good. But apart from those things 2017 was a great year.

Now that we are in 2022, I can say 2017 was by far the best year of my personal life in the past decade. It's been a rough ride for me, but 2017 was a bit better and I really do miss it.

Aside from Mumble rap and the dark political scene, 2017 has been a fun year for me, now I feel old...

Cringe as f 70s nerd glasses became cool out of nowhere when core fashion was in midst of dying in late 2017/early 18. You’re talking about those clear aviator glasses? Similar design or framework but they were usually golden straight from the 70s, they look like reading glasses, I could be wrong but sometime they were worn without any lens inside, they became popular around 2017-2018. You barely see anyone these days but they aren’t 100 percent dead.
