Not collectively killing off the 2010s culture enough this is the only decade that still feel majority 2010s its the 3rd year of 2020s.
Less nostalgic, we need to be a little less nostagic, its okay, people should focus more on creating new culture
Political divide and identity politics should been more exclusive to the mid to late 2010s

Making fun of Asian Americans, blaming them for COVID and normalizing hate crimes against them Police shooting and killing African Americans and people of color Political correctness I wonder if hate crimes are becoming less or more? I remember it being bad a year ago. Wonder if its increasing or the opposite. Another thing: -Limited edition sneakers and custom sneakers in the sense that people are artificially inflating shoes way beyond their worth, this trend started in the 2010s and is still popular. No re-issue sneakers should cost $5000 or $10,000 + dollars, its ridiculous -Also they make way too many figures/merchandise nowadays of just about everything under the sun and then make more re-issue very shortly after, this applies to collector's stuff and the comic industry as well, including regular toys, the market is oversaturated with very similar looking collectables and comic series, its exhausting and cheapens it in a way. What was nice in the 90s and 2000s is that you could focus a few things and anticipate and thoroughly enjoy things without being bombarded with way too much stuff and options. We don't need re-issue collectors statue figures of every given new and old franchise every 2 weeks. There is so much simpsons, star wars, superhero, and 80s re-issue merch out there it is scary and feel forced and makes it hard to follow and enjoy things you are interested in. -Micro SD card or other physical alternatives to gaming cds and whatever remains of music cds and blu-ray movies. It would be cool to see more micro sd cards with music albums, movies and games, they take up much less space, could possibly offer the same quality and are still physical products. -Vinyl records can be overrated: Not every vinyl record is automatically better than a cd or digital file, a lot of new vinyls are just copied and pasted digital files that cost 2x as much as a digital file or cd. -The lack of importance of physical rental spaces: I think this can work for higher end blu-rays and games. I think we should at least have more physical spaces for sampling/renting games before you guy them and also because it can take a while to download them, so I don't get why this isn't bigger than than it could be.

I have hope that 2020s identity will shine in 2022, but at the same time we still unfortunately have 2010s holdovers. I feel like nostalgia is ruining pop culture or halting growth. It seems as if people are sticking to what’s safe and it’s biting them in the ass. Maybe they realize that or they don’t. People seem afraid to take risks. Political divide and identity politics should’ve died throughout Biden’s first year in office, but that’s easier said than done. I’m afraid COVID made political tensions worse.

Excessive nostalgia is annoying. Because of that, pop culture is rehashing past decade’s work, making it worse with boring throwback pop songs, ruining classic movies and TV shows, leaving bad, bitter tastes. The 2020s don’t feel like their own decade. Hopefully 2022-2024 can change that soon.

"Blinding Lights" should've stayed in 2020 lol.

Beating a dead horse but the remakes are getting ridiculous. I'm convinced it's because the networks think it's a sure thing over something new. It's like it will advertise itself. Also I've been seeing that this rapid pace production for streaming content is creating terrible working conditions.
