Is there even thread to talk about the newest releases? If not, here it is.
Yesterday was the first release day of the year, so a couple of new songs dropped:
Looks to be the "Drivers License" of 2022. It has a good chance to explode later in the month. Bad news for those who hated DL last year.
I actually kinda like this. The storytelling aspect is good and the beat is groovy. Seems to take inspiration from the late 80s-early 90s which is a more neglected time so I don't mind as much, but still tries to modernize that sound instead of sounding like a bland rip-off like "Blinding Lights" was.
