The 2020 Vision era was a really fun time IMO, if that energy didn't eventually fall off because of COVID the Early 2020s would be awesome. Here's how I think it went.
Fall 2018 to Winter 2018/2019: warm up
Spring to Summer 2019: kick off
Fall 2019 to Winter 2019/2020: peak
Spring to Fall 2020: echo, pop culture stagnant. Overlaps with the COVID-19 era until the election.

Main part of it is Spring 2019 to Winter 2020, but Fall 2018 to Winter 2019 and Spring to Fall 2020 are the overlaps.

I would have the timeline this instead PRE BETA - Warm up Lap - Fall 2018 - early March 2019
Kick Off - April 2019 - August 2019
Peak - Fall 2019 - January 2020
Covid era Jan/Feb 2020 - Current
It didn't really feel like the fake 2020 vision anymore past the first 4 months of 2020 tbh

Imo i'd also extend it to spring 2021(i should have mentioned this in the other thread) since Biden got elected in Jan 2021.

It's an overlap period. 2021 changed some things and twisted with the vibe a bit, and I think it'll get more refined in 2022.

Capitol hill riots, Vaccine rollout, Biden inauguration, Late 10s music being pretty much dead(2020 had a lot of late 10s holdovers musically) and 9th gen gaming launch. That was when the TV intro of the 20s finished and the episode officially began.

November 2020 to January 2021 was kind of the transition from that March to October 2020 vibe.

But also Biden and the Vaccine rollout which plays a HUGE role in this COVID saga.

The properly begun in early 2021 but that does not mean the months prior are the same era as 2019, even tho most of the music was the same, life as we knew it did a 180
