- GTA sucks
- PS2 is overrated
- Pokemon gen 6 is underrated
- The 3D effect on the 3DS was actually pretty cool
- Platformers are crap besides Megaman
- Naruto storm >> Xenoverse
- Darksiders 3 was a masterpiece
- Batman Arkham City wasn't good and Knight was complete horseshit
- Batman Arkham Origins was a good game
- Final Fantasy IX is the most overrated game in existance

- Most N64, Xbox, PS1 games are unplayable today or haven't aged well.
- Most games from the mid 2000s to the present seem boring, generic, too easy, sterile or samey with some exceptions.
- The nes got far too much praise and focus in the last decade despite lots of groundbreaking and amazing games, far too many are just imported japanese crap games or untested excessive difficult mediocre titles compared to any other system.
- 3DO was a really good system for its time
- British/European 80s computer games are mostly mediocre
- PC gaming got boring in the late 90s onwards
- Most RPGS are massive time wasters and many don't feel like games, too many games are 90 percent button mashing brainless randomness for building up power.
- Gameboy owners were jealous of the Game Gear (this include me, even if the battery life sucked on the game gear)

I got a PS2 in 2005 and didn't get my 7th gen console until the early 10s. And besides about half a dozen games i found it to be pretty boring. When I got my PS3 it felt like a massive upgrade in all areas and I never touched my PS2 afterwards. When I tried GTA V on my stepbrothers PS4 I couldn't even make it through an hour, it was just extremely boring and the controls were pretty bad. inFAMOUS has much more fun free roam criminal gameplay.

Why did you use DMC2 as an example lol? There are some good PS2 games but most are shovelware and on top of that it's extremely outdated technologically in many ways. It doesn't have proper triggers on the controller for one. The online features are very limited and rarely do games implement an online mode. I could write an essay about this.

PS2 objectively had the best quality of any system, even rivaling SNES. In most top 10 lists PS2 is always at #1 as the greatest console of all time. You said a few months ago things get hazy for you in 2006, so about 2005 you really wouldn't been into mature games because you would most likely be in pre-school at the time, Wii is more fit for someone in kindergarden and preschool because most of the games are rated E for everyone. Not even counting sales, ask anyone on the street the greatest video game system of all time and most will either say SNES or PS2. Personally I thought wii was garbage full of shovelware and crappy graphics. After 2009 and 2010 people came to their senses and realized Kinect and Wii type controls were a gimmick.

Games from that generation are pretty much unplayable in current day.
