Married With Children, which debuted in 1987, seemed edgier than most of the TV shows in the 1980s. This is one of the popular 1990s shows
Subrina the Teenage Witch, which debuted in 1996, started the teen witch trend which carried into the 2000s and early 2010s.
Hannah Montana, which debuted in 2006, started the trend of shows based on music which carried over through most of the 2010s.
As for movies, I’m unsure. I think 2008 and or 2009 set the template for 2010s movies, but a lot of 2000s franchises continued until 2011.

The Office, i always thought that was a 2010s show but it actually came out right in the mid of the 2000s
The big bang theory, made geek culture cool, also gives off major hipster vibes for me.
And the biggest example: Breaking Bad. Pretty much set the tone for the 10's edgyness

Dallas and Diff’rent Strokes came out in the late 70s but set the tone for the 80s
Rosanne came out in the late 80s but set the tone for the 90s
Family Guy and Futurama came out in the late 90s but set the tone for the 00s
Glee and Modern Family came out in the late 00s but set the tone for the 10s
In the future we may say that Euphoria came out in the late 10s but set the tone for the 20s

The show was kind of a disaster during it's final few seasons during the early 2010s. I think I stopped watching it in 2010 or '11, don't remember which. 100% agree on the Big Bang Theory. Another show I think had a significant impact on the 2010s was Glee.
