The 2010s were all about going out and having experiences, being social, partying, etc. It was a very extraverted decade. The emphasis on urban living during the 2010s went with this theme.
The 2020s are about life online. They are about the metaverse. They are about doordashing instead of going to have mimosas and eat avocado toast at that overpriced themed bar on the corner. They are about watching Netflix instead of going to the cinema. Urbanism no longer matters because all of the "cool" Millennial hotspots that were popular in 2018 are now boarded up anyways because of this pandemic and economy. Everyone is working from home, making the traditional downtown unnecessary. In the 2020s, you might as well live in the middle of nowhere as long as you can get a good Internet connection.
Without going into the politics of why this is the case, this is the big difference between the 2010s and '20s and why I don't think the '20s can be compared with the 2010s, even if the music is lagging. The thing is, even before the pandemic the trend was in this direction, but the pandemic simply drove a stake into the heart of the 2010s mindset and solidified the new "everything online" way of life into the status quo.
The 2010s were also the last decade to have any kind of monoculture. When life goes online, the culture can be whatever you want it to be.

2010s was a weird decade in the sense that it was both overly digital but overly social/extroverted simultaneously.

Not sure about the rest of the 2020s, but the early 2020s right now definitely does feel introverted with COVID and the lockdowns/isolation we've collectively had.
