There's a guy at channel 7 who I think is called Mark - not Stevens (although he is a knob), Beretta, Burrows or Riley. He did a lot of the cricket reports on the news during summer. He has a creepy voice, the kind of voice you would warn kids about.

I'm not exactly sure why this is, but I've never been able to take to Brooke Boney (the new entertainment presenter on Today). To me, she just doesn't come across as very personable or genuine. I also don't particularly like how she turned the Australia Day debate into an "us vs them" discussion. Tony Jones copped a lot of flak online about his stance on the matter (which I actually agreed with, personally), but he was absolutely right when he said that there are white Australian families who struggle with day-to-day living as well. I'm starting to get off-topic here, however that is part of the reason as to why I don't like Brooke. I lost a bit of respect for her when she started playing the "us vs them" card.

It's like she's trying to turn Today into The Project.. Could get more ratings for Today with her??? Maybe she'd be more suited at The Project though.

The Project would arguably be the most suitable program on free-to-air for Brooke to have a permanent role on, as she's very left-leaning and she likes to voice her opinion on societal debates. I feel as though her contributions and viewpoints would be appreciated more if she was on a show like The Project. Not to be disrespectful, but I honestly feel as though she rubs a few people the wrong way. It actually wouldn't surprise me if she is having a bit of a negative effect on Today's ratings. Her opinions and presence on the show may even go as far as discouraging a few conservative, right-wing people to stop watching altogether.

I'm not a fan of Alison Arriotti on Nine News. She YELLS TOO LOUD WHILE PRESENTING THE NEWS. I agree. Another person who is just as guilty of yelling while presenting is Christine Ahern. I don't actually dislike her as such, but her "over-the-top" presenting style can be a bit irritating on occasions.

I was actually going to mention her in this post, even had the preview written up for it! Her yelling while presenting a live cross as Today's Melbourne reporter can get irritating, you don't really want to be yelled at in the morning.

This is a new low from Annette "I no longer watch commercial breakfast TV (yet still regularly write/publish articles about it)" Sharp:
As I've said elsewhere online, this absolutely appalling piece of work is like something you'd expect to see passed around the playground by a nine year old girl. Yet it was actually published in The Sunday Telegraph.
Had a male journalist written such comments about the hair, make-up, wardrobe (I'd be absolutely disgusted by Annette's "should be dressed in age appropriate clothing" comment if I was Brooke Boney) or sex appeal of breakfast TV presenters, there'd quite rightly be a barrage of complaints!

Rebecca Maddern. She's a cold, self-centered woman who quite often interrupts her co-hosts and special guests on Weekend Today, she isn't likable at all.
