We all know it will happen. Every great invention and technology has been replaced by a new one. The only question is when? When do you think the internet will be replaced with something new?

The internet will never be replaced by anything, like... ever
Unless, we invent a new way of transporting data that doesn't use a network of computers, servers, satellites, antennas and underwater cables
Which is impossible, i mean... Unless you believe in telepathy or something like that
The metaverse is literally just a VR interface for the internet

Did you know they didn't comprehend the internet back then? What makes you think there won't be a newer invention that we can't comprehend now? We make fun of those people who said nothing will replace the technologies of their time. And you are doing the same thing as them now...

I don't know if the internet will be phased out and replaced by something new but this got me thinking, what if the way we accessed the internet changed radically.
Like instead of PCs and phones, we use devices like google glasses. Or finger tip sized holograms which open up an interface that lets you browse by swiping the hologram image with your fingers.
