Fortnite is basically dead in the sense of being a cultural phenomenon now and has been since late 2020. Assuming we're all still in one piece in the mid 20s, I think young zoomers will start getting all rose tinted over fortnite and say it was a masterpiece and better than the new big game at the time, like how they did with minecraft back in 2019-2020 and trashed on fortnite. And like how people trashed on minecraft in the mid 10s and praised runescape or roblox. This will be hilarious to watch, i'm going to need some popcorn when the time comes.

I don’t think this will happen. If anything, it’s more likely that something else similar to Minecraft and Fortnite will take over and will be one of the defining things of the next era. And I wouldn’t say Fortnite is dead. It’s obviously not as talked about as it was in 2018 but many people are still playing it.
