Elf would have to be my favourite Christmas movie and one of my favourite movies of all time, truth be told. I loved that movie when I was a kid and I still enjoy watching it each year close to Christmas.  Other Christmas movies I like include: * Home Alone / 2 * The Polar Express * The Santa Clause

Die Hard (many people say it's not a Christmas movie, but it's set at Christmas and it mentions Christmas alot) I suppose they think Die Hard isn’t a Christmas movie because it isn’t the usual “traditional” festive film of some others, it’s more of an action movie set at Christmas Eve instead. Mind you, you could apply that to other movies that are Christmas-themed too. IMO, I’ve always considered it as such and always will despite others saying otherwise.

No, I think it was one that came with the Newspaper about 10-12 years ago. Thanks for the research though.
