Have you ever owned pay/cable-TV? If so, how long have you had it for? I've had Foxtel since Early 2016, however I did experience Pay-TV prior to that. My Dad has had pay-TV since the Mid '90s (he was one of the first people to sign up to the Galaxy service in 1995), so I watched Pay-TV whenever I went over to my Dad's house and I continue to do so.

I've never owned Pay/Cable TV, but I have been watching Austar since 2000 when my family use to have all the channel packs (movies etc). We currently got Foxtel but only use it when NRL comes back on.

Yeah, I got it in 1996 and had it ever since.
Had all packages most of that time, recently dropped a couple of packages due to not watching them enough.

We have owned Foxtel since Feb 2015. We also owned it in the mid 2000s.

Have never owned Pay TV as such. But I do stream Foxtel Now for the AFL and a few other sports, and have done for quite a number of years. I can’t justify paying for Foxtel in full as most of the content available doesn’t interest me and I’m not willing to spend all that money anyways.

I used to subscribe to Sky Digital, It's similar to Foxtel in the sense that it is pay TV and the TV guides are similar too, but it got expensive and we switched to BT (and Freeview).
