I don't feel confident in ranking the current generation as it's going on, but so far, I'd say this
1. 6th gen
2. 5th gen
3. 7th gen
4. 8th gen

I don't feel confident in ranking the current generation as it's going on, but so far, I'd say this 1. 6th gen 2. 5th gen 3. 7th gen 4. 8th gen I really like 9th gen compared to the previous one. Games are more fun now and varied than they were in the 2010s where there were too many FPS games in the first half of the year and too many cinematic walkie talkie games and soulsborne game in the second half. Also haptics, 60fps and near instant load times on everything really enhances the gaming experience. 8th gen already feels dated. The leap isn't gargantuan and so in your face compared to say PS2 to PS3 but the many QoL improvements in virtually every area makes for an overall much better experience.

The other gens, I can't truly rank. It's a possibility that the 9th gen could outrank the 8th gen though.

Pfft. Easy. 1. 6th gen 2. 5th gen 3. 7th gen 4. 8th gen The other gens, I can't truly rank. It's a possibility that the 9th gen could outrank the 8th gen though. 9th gen is 10x better so far. One ups 8th gen in every way.
