What were some sequels to movies that you've seen that you absolutely HATED? I will list some that I thought sucked
Spider-Man 3
Shrek the Third
Rocky V
Batman and Robin
The Matrix Revolutions
Revenge of the Fallen (Transformers 1 wasn't that bad, but ROTF is where the franchise became a laughing stock)
The Last Jedi
X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Shrek the Third likewise has to be easily the worst animated sequel of all time. Disappointment is a big understatement given that the first two, for all their fart jokes and pop culture references, were very well-written movies with lots of clever jokes. The third movie felt like a movie made just to milk the franchise.

Explaining movies and how they were received is NOT something I'm good at, but here's a video by Schafrillas Productions that explains why it was so atrocious.

007 Quantum of Solace was such an underwhelming sequel to it's predecessor Casino Royale.
And even if it were an standalone movie, IT'S JUST BAD. Not worthy of having James Bond's name associated it. Olga Kurylenko as Camille Montes was such a nice bondgirl and eye-candy though, she made me question my sexuality lol.

Not people saying shrek 3 is the worst animated sequel when cars 2 and 3 exist 💀 SIKE, shrek 3 really is worse Cars 3 wasn’t that bad but YIKES Cars 2. Honestly that’s probably a close second to Shrek the Third. Easily Pixar’s worst film.
