You heard me. Which years are downright UGLY to look at? And conversely, which years are beautiful and sexy?
For me, I thought 2017 was super ugly. 2004 was sexy and hot though.

I'm with you on that one honestly. There were some good things like The Lego Movie coming out, but that year was THE year that kicked off all this SJW/alt-right nonsense into the mainstream with Gamergate. It was also the year the Ukraine drama that we're still dealing with started. I hated the overly happy wholesome vibe of 2013-2014 with songs like Happy and Best Day of My Life. Kid culture was awful, Breadwinners came out that year. And so did The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Not the worst year of the 2010s but also not one I care much for.

And honestly i don't think any year is ugly... Minus every year of the 70s, what an UGLY fucking decade
Right now the mid 10s are entering the "obsolete" era that the late 00s/early 10s were a few years ago, so they seem very ugly now. But I remember a lot of people saying the late 00s and early 10s were ugly back then.

But I remember a lot of people saying the late 00s and early 10s were ugly back then. This is an April Fools post. I'm not really taking it too seriously, but I also wanted to post my own thoughts on the year 2014, since I haven't really shared them publicly. Though I think John Titor legitimately finds the mid 2010s ugly aesthetically (especially the hipster aesthetic).

But only when it's gaga doing it 😄 Ugly: the entirety of the 70s If we're talking aesthetically beautiful eras, I think 2007-2011 was gorgeous. 2009 has to be the most beautiful year of all time, because it gave us Avatar and Windows 7. So much better than modern flat design/Blob Web aesthetics. Even the cellphones from back then were gorgeous.

Baffles me why Early-Mid 2009 are lumped in with the 10s. The aesthetic of 2009 is closer to the decade it's in than the 10s. I agree a lot on 2009 being dark and digital. That year is peak "dark and digital".
