Though IMO I still think 2005-2006 is the peak of the night/creepy vibes. Corpse Bride, My Chemical Romance, Billy and Mandy, emos, Pan's Labyrinth, Growing Up Creepie. Different kind of vibes imo, 2009 had an artificial feel to it. Peak illuminati conspiracy theory year I associate the Illuminati with 2015, since that’s where all the Illuminati Confirmed memes were LMAO

i agree with 10slover that the entirety of the 70s was ugly. the color palette, the fashion, the culture, all of it.
although i love the 90s, the color palette of the mid 90s was kinda bland imo. the early 90s still had some bold and interesting colors and the late 90s/y2k era was very colorful of course tho
the 00s and the 80s were aesthetically pretty for the most part. the 2010s was neither ugly or pretty to me, just normal and “meh”

It’s not hideous for certain, but it’s not gorgeous looking either. Sadly, it followed up on the gorgeous Windows Vista/7/early iOS/BlackBerry aesthetic that was big from 2007-2011.

Maybe that ugliness is just character to me as opposed to the blandness of the 2010s with the exception of the hip hop scene aesthetic during the decade as opposed to the pop scene which was over saturated with pastels and cringe live, love and laugh fonts.
