Anyways John Titor what do you think the quintessential website of the 2010s was? I would have to say Instagram tbh

I ended up voting for Tumblr. Pastel colors, SJWs, hipsters, fourth-wave feminism, Steven Universe, Undertale.

I ended up voting for Tumblr. Pastel colors, SJWs, hipsters, fourth-wave feminism, Steven Universe, Undertale. Yeah, I would agree. It was essentially THE site for progressive liberal communities with NSFW pictures, fan art, GIFs, political activism, and much more. Tumblr was already on the decline, but following their NSFW porn ban in 2018, that site's popularity just dropped like a sinking rock. Even OnlyFans later on knew how bad that decision to remove porn was (because that's obviously what they were known for).

Looking back, Tumblr was basically to hipsters what MySpace was to emos. They were strongly associated with the subculture, and were popular pretty much around the same time. Tumblr blew up in 2011, same year hipster did. And it declined in 2017 before dying off in 2018, again, like hipster.
