I thought this might be an interesting idea for a topic. What school subjects were/are you good at? I went really well at school. In primary (elementary) school, I was pretty much good at all of the subjects we learnt about. English was my favourite and I used to like making my own creative writing stories during my spare time. In High School, my performance in subjects was more mixed, however I still generally went well in all of the subjects I studied. English, Science & HSIE (history & geography) were the subjects I did best in. I also performed really well in Multimedia, Society & Culture and Photography in Years 11 & 12. Maths was a mixed bag for me. Most of my marks ranged between 45-55% in exams all through High School (my lowest was just 37%, which was in my trial), however I managed to get 63% in my HSC exam.

Maths, I was a bit of a maths wiz at high school. People would chuck sums at me. "Paul what's 80 x 25?" and in an instant I'd give them the answer.

You can apply it to almost every situation in life, whether it be at work or other social situations. I don't know of anything which requires you to know William Shakespeare's texts.

I was good in gym when I was in elementary and middle school. I take Pilates class in HS and I did a plank for one minute and thirty seconds and was able to beat that by twenty seconds. I also do well in writing and reading. I used to be good at science in middle school, but it’s gotten harder now, but not too hard.

Math and computer/IT class is what I've been consistently good at throughout my school career. In high school I started getting better at French and the sciences. My worst was always gym and creative classes in general (art, music, theatre etc.). My parents saw them as a waste of time, and so did I. My parents were semi-proud when I came back home with an F in Art but an A in Math in Grade 7.

I do good in English, which is a shocker for some of my classmates. I get told I have good English for an Asian, when really I've been exposed to the English language all my life. I like science as well.

I found Calculus interesting, albeit difficult at times.

I found Calculus interesting, albeit difficult at times. I don't think I ever leaned Calculus. Mind you, it's not something I would ever want to learn!

Calculus was my best subject in high school. Then I got into university LOL. Actually, I learnt a lot in university level calculus, I just bombed my final exam in second year (multivariavble calculus) which brought my grade down from a B+ to a D+ 😭
It was sad too, because the prof kept telling me if I keep skipping class, I won't do so well. But I still kept getting A/B+ in his tests, because I loved calculus even though I was too sleepy to go to class. I got all smug. But then it caught up to me during the final exam and I bombed. I had the same prof the next semester for Differential Equations, and on the first lecture he caught my face in the distance, laughed, shook his head and said "okay guys, this is not the type of course where you can skip and still succeed. You have to come in everyday! I know a lot of kids who think they're smart and think they can ace it without coming to class, and when they get their final grades they immediately regret their choices." LOL I buried my head.
