Obviousy the 10s are my worst decade but in a 10 year span there is bound to be plenty of stuff from it that I like even if the vast majority of content pumped out during this time is soulless and commercialized trash.
Anyway, I digress. There were plenty of great games that released this decade. I really liked certain shows that came out like Mr.Robot(the main characters alter ego is my profile picture), The Flash, Arrow, late Breaking Bad. Information is more accessible on the internet now whereas in the 2000s sometimes you couldn't find the answer. On youtube sometimes I would look for an anime fight and I would end up just drowning in AMVs lmao. But yeah that's pretty much it for me. Late 20th century decades, 2000s and even the 2020s are still way better imo.

I mean when it comes to actual living, I think the 2010s are a lot better than the 70s and 80s (too much crime, Cold War paranoia, drugs everywhere), but if we’re talking music and movies, than yeah, the 2010s were a disappointment to say the least.

I honestly don't know. The 10s and even the 20s as well are soulless as fuck and depressing. When I see flashbacks of the 80s on TVs and movies I watch it looks so much better and simpler. Back then we wouldn't know what we're missing with the internet. And our dopamine receptors and attention spans wouldn't be fucked because of it at least so we'd enjoy the real world more. It just looked so comfy back then compared to now where social media technology controversy is everywhere and everything feels all artificial and corporate and soulless. Pop culture was better. Music was better, movies were better. Gaming had just became a thing so i'd imagine just playing even the very primitive games back then would have been such a joyride whereas now we're used to it all.

Life quality was immensely better in the 2010s compared to the 80s and 70s. The dopamine-styff you mentioned is self-inflicted, and the pop-culture stuff is completely subjective

No, I don't believe that 2010s pop culture is anywhere near as good as the pop culture of previous decades like come on. 2010s pop culture is soulless as fuck and is the equivalent of a week old leftovers kfc, whereas pop culture of the 80s is more like a fine wine. How exactly are people going to be nostalgic for it when like half the content pumped out is inspired by nostalgia for previous superior decades anyway.

I dislike the 80s, but idk if I’d call it my least favorite because I love the music. I also love some 80s movies, but I mainly dislike the 80s because of the cheesiness and the overall look of the decade is ugly to me. The worst fashion of all time is 80s hair in my opinion and boxy car plus the clownish makeup of the 80s was all just so unflattering to look at. I’d say the 60s is my least favorite, I don’t even like the music or fashion of that decade or do I watch many 60s movies. Plus the 60s just seemed so bleak to me, assassinations everywhere, civil rights violence, Vietnam…bleh. Though I do like the Twilight Zone, that’s about it. My favorite decade is the 90s.

Assuming we're talking about post-World War 1 decades, then the 1940s, despite seeming like an incredibly nightmarish time to live in, had a very distinctive feel when it comes to cinema that's quite appealing. I watched "Children of Paradise" not too long ago, while it's a very long movie with not all much happening, it's also has that sophisticated and extravagant feel with beautiful scores that many dramatic movies strived for back then, like "Citizen Kane", "Casablanca" and "Double Indemnity".

I totally get what you mean. The Golden Age of Hollywood spanned both the 30s and 40s, both regarded as not exactly the greatest decades. But it served as a means of escapism. As for me personally, my favorite aspect of the 40s would have to be the Looney Tunes and Tom and Jerry cartoons from back then.

That scary poster Jasmine used to say the 2010s was amazing and the best, I don't see it. Horrible decade with better movies I suppose. The 2010s is def of cringe. You already know why.
