It's really bad and extremely generic 2010s holdover

It's really bad and extremely generic 2010s holdover Sounds nothing like the 10s. In the 10s he was crapping out ballad after ballad. Now he's making funky bangers like this. The only strong connection is Ed Sheerans vocals.

Today i learned "Shape Of You" is ballad That hardly sounds much like this song either. He did do a few non ballads but most of his songs in the 2010s seemed to be slow romantic songs like "Thinking out loud", "Perfect", "Lego House". In general his music was very slow paced unlike bad habits.

It's not underrated though. I hear that song on the radio constantly still in 2022. In fact I just heard it played 5 minutes ago. I'm pretty sure it was up there on the Billboard hot 100 year end chart too.
