Cardi B is definitely to the 2020s what Nicki Minaj was to the 2010s.

Cardi B is definitely to the 2020s what Nicki Minaj was to the 2010s. Cardi B is mainly a late 2010s icon though. The closest to either that is mainly a 20s star is Doja Cat.

Cardi B isn't even popular anymore. She will remain in the 2010s I think. Doja Cat took her place.

Doja Cat → Rihanna Ariana Grande → Britney Billie Eillish → Lilly Allen Olivia Rodrigo → Hayley Williams The Weeknd → Justin Timberlake Idk JT was doing futuristic Timbaland sounds while the Weeknd banks on throwback retro sound. more like opposites lol. I guess in the same way the early 2000s were obsessed with being futuristic while the early 2020s are obsessed with being retro.

He did have a 70s throwback hit song Either way, I'm not comparing their music, I'm comparing their place in the music industry (both the biggest male popstars of their times) and vocal capabilities (both have somewhat high-pitched singing voices)
