It was the closest year of music to the 00s. No it wasn't. 2000s music died in 2008. Closest, the stattement didn't neccessarily imply 2010 was musically more 00s than 10s. But since we're talking about it, I would also say 2009 is more 00s than 10s musically. 2010 is around 50/50 musically imo. Not everything on the radio was electropop. Even the electropop back then sounded nothing like EDM.
