GTA 3: 2001. Shift year.
GTA San Andreas: 2004. Shift year.
GTA 4: 2008. Shift year.
GTA 5: 2013. Shift year.
So whenever GTA 6 comes out we'll probably get another shift. Ofc there have been shifts without it and its possible and likely for another shift to happen without it. Just that whenever a popular GTA game has came out it was a shift year with the except of Vice City in 2002.

And 1997 when the first GTA came out was definitely a shift year. 1999 (GTA 2) was also a shift year.

Why I think 2019 would've been the perfect year for GTA 6. But they decided to milk GTA Online for a decade instead 😂.
