Something I often forget about.. looking back at pics of theaters from the 90s is that screens back then were SO SMALL, like laughably small in comparison to the Imax and Standard screens of today. In the 2000s you saw screens get way bigger but in the 90s they were pretty much in that 1970s-1980s sizing. It is pretty jarring looking back. Below is the aesthetics of the theater in the 90s A theater in New England still using the standard 90s screen Theatrer in Mid west still using 1980s seating Now lets compare those 90s cinema's to 2020s cinema lol

So true lool. Took a while to upgrade them. Basically like a private home theatre by todays standards, not even in many cases. Sitting in the back is definately less of an issue these days. I would be thinking about the screen being so small the whole time if I watched it now even in a good spot.
