Biggest shifts in the last 15 years in order: 1. 2020 2. 2008 3. 2013 4. 2016 Number 1 and 2 are very big ones, 3 is a pretty big one, and 4 is closer to a minor one. 2013 in 3rd? Didn't seem like that big of a shift to me. In 2016 trump got elected.

The shift years that you realize were shift years in hindsight are less changeful than the years you know you are in a shift. I only saw 2016 as a shift in hindsight. Whereas in 2013 and 2020 you KNEW it was happening right then and there.

So? People put way too much emphasis on election years. That's a big thing. This isn't your average run of the mill politican we're talking about. And it also phased out Obama which is even more of a stand out politician. 2016 was a massive political shift and music also changed with trop house and pop fused EDM becoming dominant. Vine shut down. Windows 10 became the norm. Many iconic 8th gen games came out like DOOM, Overwatch, Uncharted 4, Hitman, etc.
