Isn’t mid 2012 numerically closer to NYD 2010 anyway? This question would make more sense if you compared mid-2012 to early 2010 and late 2014.

NYD 2015. Minecraft, smartphones, and hipsters were popular in both eras. NYD 2015 also predates Trump’s run for president and the passing of same-sex marriage

Isn’t mid 2012 numerically closer to NYD 2010 anyway? This question would make more sense if you compared mid-2012 to early 2010 and late 2014. By middle of 2012 I mean exactly in the middle. Like the last day of june or the first day of july which is right in between the first day of 2010 and 2015. Technically it may be closer towards either by a few days though.

2010 duh There wete still so many 2000s leftovers in 2012, they were all gone by 2015 I don’t remember mobile games being popular in NYD 2010. Back then scene was the trendy subculture and not hipsters. Lots of people still used Windows XP back then as well.
