2011 really wasn't that 2000s influenced lol, there were a few late 2000s things but barely there, things that came out in 2006 and 2007 and even 2008 were regarded as super outdated, but then again TRL was rebooted/rebranded in 2010 to absolutely no fanfare at all lol

This would not feel out of place in 2007 for example.

2006/2007 did feel distant by 2011 but not downright old-school. The 2000s in general had entered its “uncool” phase during this time, like so many decades do when the next decade is coming in.

The video itself feels too high-quality to be 2000s. It would've been 240p-230p quality in years like 2007. Plus, I know you won't agree on this but 2012 was the last year with some 2000s leftovers.

It’s like a 2000s video with 2010s production quality. Sort of like making a CD-I YouTube Poop but you do it in Vegas Pro and in 4K. OK, the video itself still has a 2000s feel, but it’s in much higher quality.

I’m just saying if you want something truly 2010s, how about a compilation of MCU clips with Chainsmokers Closer playing over it.

Other points you could raise are how 2011 was the last year of the Iraq War, and also the last year Blackberry phones and 4:3 SD online series were still fairly common.
