I guess sometime during the early Web 2.0 era would work, since this was before Big Tech censorship was a thing, and when political correctness didn't exist yet, and yet people now had the ability to post whatever the hell they wanted on platforms like YouTube and MySpace. I'm thinking 2007. YouTube/MySpace culture that year was crazy, Newgrounds was still popular, and it was the peak of celebrity scandals like the infamous Britney meltdown.

As for 2005 I will give me reasons below. - Emos everywhere all over the place - Pre Youtube ( it didn't take off until 2006) so you saw people walking around with camcorders and actually have to do work to record crazy stuff, and it felt more special - Mcbling of course - I think 2005 was a peak limewire year, it seemed the severs would always get overloaded - Skateboarding culture still there, many skate parks open - Cyber Cafes still "somewhat" popular with wifi taking off fast, those cafes were good meeting spot tbh - the Mall traffic peaking in 05, the mall was OVERLOADED and so much stuff was happening at the same time
