It still took way longer for the 2000s to be nostalgic I don’t think so, early 80s nostalgia started to show up in the late 90s-early 2000s with freaks and geeks. It was in full swing by the late 2000s-early 2010s Early/mid 80s nostalgia officially became a prem thing in 2002 - That 80s Show - GTA Vice City in 98 the Wedding singer was the catalyst to this

It still took way longer for the 2000s to be nostalgic How so? 80s nostalgia went big the early 00s 70s Nostalgia sometime in the 90s 50s nostalgia in the 70s, so on so forth 00s nostalgia arrived just in time as the decade turned 20 years old, plus we signs of it in the mid 10s 2000s nostalgia now is nowhere near as big as '80s nostalgia was in the early 2000s... That's my entire point. Even '90s nostalgia was weak in the early 2010s. It was mainly focused around BuzzFeed and online and kids who weren't '90s kids who wished they were. Nowhere near as big as '80s nostalgia in the early '00s. 2000s nostalgia now is very weak compared to it.
