Hopefully, once the covid era is over, scientists will have came up with a way to give folks like me who have covid and lost their sense of taste and sense of smell because of it the ability to taste and smell again. Which brings me to the question "How will nurses and doctors give folks like me who have covid and lost their sense of taste and sense the ability to taste and smell again?" The reason why I brought that question up is because before this pandemic happened, I never heard anyone say "Oh. I lost my ability to taste and smell." or "I don't have the ability to taste and smell.". Another reason I brought that question up is because I have seen people who have covid who haven't had their sense of taste for so long on Twitter say "I forgot how [insert food or drink here.] taste.". With that being said, it is going to be interesting seeing how the problem of people losing their sense of taste and smell gets resolved. It might result in a scientific breakthrough.
