I'm thinking about creating an internet radio station for Popedia, so that we can choose to listen to music while we browse the boards. If you don't want to listen to music on the forum, you don't have to. I'm planning on making it as a separate feature.  I've never created an online radio station before, so I don't know how it will turn out, but I thought it would be a good idea. We can all suggest up to 10 songs which you would like to hear on the station and i'll add those songs into the playlist. Here are the ten songs I am picking for the station: * "Hanging by a Moment" - Lifehouse * "Take a Picture" - Filter * "Where's Your Head At?" - Basement Jaxx * "Where the City Meets the Sea" - The Getaway Plan * "Jeremy" - Pearl Jam * "Surrender" - Cheap Trick * "Heart-Shaped Box" - Nirvana * "Calypso" - Spiderbait * "Breathe" - The Prodigy * "Comedown" - Bush

You can if you want. I actually listened to the Popedia radio station and set it to different countries and it was interesting. :D

Hahaha, be honest, but before clicking on the link, what were you expecting it to be? I actually was expecting it to be "Achy Breaky Heart", especially seeing as though it's your favourite song.  Um, I’d prefer “guilty pleasure”. I know the song isn’t that great in reality!

I wish I could listen but the radio for some reason doesn't work for me That's strange. Just out of curiosity, do you normally access Popedia on your phone or through a tablet/computer? If you're using the radio for the first time, I think you need to "right click" to enable the Adobe Flash Player (which is the file format of the radio feature) to perform. I access the site via my Laptop most of the time, so I just right-clicked on the computer mouse when I first accessed it and the radio feature started to work.

Mind you, I've only used the feature once before, so I can't really conclude how effective it is. If it's hardly being used or if it's simply not that good of a feature, I might remove it and replace it with something else.

It’s cool to see what’s on TV in other countries :P

I just use a tablet but I can try my computer again and see if it works because I believe I did try it on there before.

I am reviving this idea. The Popedia radio station will actually be an online radio station which broadcasts 24 hours a day. It is unrelated to the existing radio feature on the forum. To access the Popedia radio station, there will be a button in the "Extra" drop-down menu. If you would like to see your favourite songs played on the station, list them below.
