I think he will turn out to be the new steve jobs with all the shit he invents left right and center. Probably even bigger since SJ was mostly confined to computers. Electric cars, satellite/solar powered smartphones, hyperloop tunnels, space travel etc. I remember watching this video where this guy who worked under him said that he bases every decision his company makes based on if it will help them get to mars.

He doesn't invent anything How Elon Musks "invents" things: Step 1: Buy someone else's idea Step 2: hire a bunch of nerds to work on that idea Step 3: dump a crapton of money on that project Step 4: ? Step 5: profit!!! Elon has never invented a single thing, not even paypal Many of "his" ideas fail (like the hyperloop) Steve Jobs didn't invent anything at all, but he was great at taking other people's ideas and perfecting it (because he had vision) Elon Musk does not have a vision, he just has a huge ego he needs to feed. He pays other people to perfect the ideas he bought from someone else. He has absolutely zero say on SpaceX, Tesla or hyperloop... He just has the money

Not surprising. Companies come and go all the time. Blackberry was the biggest thing ever for some time and it went away. Before that, IBM, and other companies. Until now it was Apple, Google, Amazon, Facebook, and Samsung. And now it's time for Tesla to take the crown. I wouldn't be surprised if we get the first affordable electric vehicle really soon.

I'd say microsoft for the classic 2000s and apple for the modern 2000s Let me tell you, downloading a fucking Linkin Park song off of Kazaa, then playing it on Winamp whilst playing the original Counter-Strike on a Dell Windows XP computer is the most early 2000s thing you could possibly do.
