When something is hugely popular, you can’t go anywhere without seeing it at Wal-Mart or Toys R Us constantly spammed everywhere. Here are some examples:
Star Wars 1977-1986, 1997-2006, 2015-present
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1989-1992
Bat-Man 1989-1997, 2008-2013
Sonic the Hedgehog 1991-1994
Jurassic Park 1993-1994
The Lion King 1994-1995
Power Rangers 1994-1996
Pokémon 1999-2001
Harry Potter 2001-2012
SpongeBob SquarePants 2002-2007
Spider-Man 2002-2007, 2016-present
Adventure Time 2011-2013
Minecraft 2012-2015
Frozen 2013-2015, 2019
Minions 2013-2016
I could be off on some of these but these are my perceptions just walking into stores and seeing SO MUCH merch of a franchise at once, like Minecraft or Pokémon at its peak

And the Batman signal was as well Btw, your PowerRangers date is very accurate, the show still had hype in Q1 due to Zeo season, but after a few weeks quickly fell off. The show had been declining after the run of the first movie. They did everything they could to bring interest up, including cheap tactics like this

Me personally thought EP 1 sucked, I thought EP 2 was the sh*ts, but EP 3 was pretty much hater proof.

I feel as if spiderman merch has been consistently popular forever Yeah but it became extra popular firstly after the Raimi films came out, and then after Spider-Man appeared in Captain America: Civil War. He was especially popular in 2017-2018 to the point that people on Twitter were talking about how he was extra popular.

Twilight I don't remember seeing a lot of merchandise, but it WAS being talked about constantly online, both due to teenage girl fans making fanfics and other such stuff on platforms like Fanpop (remember that?), AND from haters making fun of the franchise. It was mocked by YouTubers of the time like NigaHiga, Smosh, and Annoying Orange. It was probably the second most hated thing online at the time, only behind Justin Bieber.

Hunger Games in the mid 10s!!! AKA the replacement for the Twilight craze of the late 00s/early 10s. And it also inspired other movies like Divergent and The Maze Runner. The trend seemed to peak in 2014, but was dead by 2016.

Also, if we're talking the mid 2010s and merch being everywhere, no better example exists than MINIONS. That shit was everywhere from 2013 to 2016.
