The sun had an orangish yellow tinge to it whereas nowadays it is white. Similarly, the sky was a lot more blue back then whereas now it is a lot more pale. I blame it on chemtrails.

Hmmm, I guess it really depends on which area of the world we live in at the moment. There are places in the world that are crystal clear blue skies with a bright yellow sunshine til this day. The early 2000s did had that bright and dreamy vibe that I absolutely enjoy very much.
