Pokemon 2000 was a huge smash at the box office as well as X-Men. What do we think of this Summer slate for movies ?

It was alright, not legendary or anything, but not atrocious either.
Summer 2000 also had movies like Scary Movie, The Perfect Storm, and Chicken Run.

This is not a summer movie, but it did come out in 2000, but another big hit was the Digimon movie.
So I guess 2000 was the peak of the Mon genre in general lol.

It was kinda weak honestly, I would say the biggest movies that summer definitely were:
- Gladiator
- Mission: Impossible II
- The Perfect Storm

It was kinda weak honestly, I would say the biggest movies that summer definitely were: - Gladiator - Mission: Impossible II - The Perfect Storm I forgot MI 2 came out that year, not bad and Perfect storm is a classic but yeah pretty weak year for movies.
