I've never seen you talk about decades this old LMAO. But honestly, easily 1977. HUGE year in so many ways. Star Wars, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Annie Hall. The start of the PC revolution with the Apple II, Commodore PET, and TRS-80. Atari 2600. VHS. I also really like 1978. That year was also very revolutionary for movies, and might actually be my personal favorite of the decade. It had Superman, Animal House, and Halloween.

For me 1979 only because the 70s looked ass tbh, the closer to 1980s the better

I love the pop culture of 1976. Great year for movies, and TV. It was also the year where America had celebrated its 200th Birthday. I’ll love to time travel to 1976 (if we have a time machine vehicle).

I’ll say probably 1979. Lots of tech and music styles that flourished in the 80s started here.
