In light of Target recently announcing that they are going to start lowering their prices, I have a question about the store Target that I have been meaning to ask for a while. When did Target stop being like Big Lots and became an upscale store? The reason why I asked that question is because when I was looking at the trailer for 90s movie Reality Bites on YouTube two years ago, I (born in 1996) saw someone in the comments section of it say that Target used to be like Big Lots. When did Target stop being like Big Lots and became an upscale store?
