That’s right. Imagine if the Filthy Frank, IDubbz, Pepe the Frog, 9/11 meme culture of 2016 was combined with the sad boi Bart Simpson Lil Peep/XXXTentacion Xanax emo rap culture of 2018. It would be the edgiest year of the 2010s by far, and would be on par with 2001-2005 or 1994/1995 in terms of edginess. Personally, this combo would be simultaneously interesting and horrifying. But what do you think?

Basically describing 2017 to me lol def the edgiest year of the 2010s. 2017 was also easily the biggest horror year of the 2010s, with both It and Get Out being some of the biggest movies of the year. Certainly adds to the year’s edgy vibe.
