I knew HBO Max was going to be a big deal the moment it was announced. Having all the HBO shows like Game of Thrones is one thing. But just look at everything else they’re doing. This is also easily the best streaming platform for animation, ESPECIALLY adult animation, with the Adult Swim, Comedy Central, and Crunchyroll libraries under its belt, not to mention Cartoon Network and old-school Hanna-Barbera/Warner Bros cartoons. Netflix used to be top dog easily in this department, but have lost out to both HBO Max and Disney+ (the latter not only having almost everything Disney’s ever made of course, but also FOX animated shows like The Simpsons and Family Guy).

Look at that, only ONE Netflix show on the list. Would’ve been unimaginable in 2015, the days of “Netflix and chill”. The 2010s truly are over.

With Netflix hiking their prices during high inflation and not enough engaging programming (besides Stranger Things now) compared to its competitors, it's no wonder why the service is losing subscribers. I bet Obi-Wan now is getting more watercolor talk on Disney+ lol.

The UK one got shut down last year due to Disney plus.
