2016 was a very changeful year in many things, even YouTube. Keen star has kickstarted YouTube drama, the adpocalypse start to show up, Leafy and Pyrocynical revolutionized commentary, 3AM videos and clickbaity shit was becoming very common, and Pewdiepie gave up gaming let’s plays and becomes an edgy memer in late 2016.

The whole cringe edgelord drama community era was a bubble era which start late 2015 or early 2016 and ended in the 2016-2017 school year from what i remember.

2016 had some things which felt like shifts but they were died out next year like pokemon go and this.
