I don't care what anyone says. This is the best era that ever existed.

Yeah, ive always sort of wished that I could have been born just a few years earlier so I could have experienced them more. Being born in '94 or '95 would be the sweet spot; I would have been too young to fully understand the impacts of 9/11, but old enough to experience each year of the early 00s as a kid and have vivid memories of them.
2003 is the only early 00s year I can decently remember and from what I do remember of it, it was generally a much better time to be a kid in than what the mid-late 00s were.

i’m gonna play devil’s advocate here. i know this is a common narrative but as someone who doesn’t remember most of the early 00s, this time period doesn’t mean much to me. i think of the late 00s and early 10s the way a lot of millennials think of the early 00s. it all just depends on the person

Of course, the late 2000s/early 2010s weren't perfect but especially neither the early 2000s.

It was an amazing time minus 9/11 and the Islam phobia tbh, since you remember 03 you pretty much got the gist of it, 03 felt about 80% similar to 2001 and 2002
