I saw the music video and the song at the same time ( the both came out around the same week) I thought it seemed above and beyond anything out on the radio at the time. It set the tone for that late July week going into August 2006

That song sticks out to me the most from 2006 Either that or any Fergie, Chris Brown, T-Pain, or Nelly Furtado song from that year. Hell, even T.I. Also, Natasha Bedingfield's Unwritten sounds very 2006.

While SexBack was a groundbreaking, this song spoke more volumes to me @ the time ( also produced by Timbaland and came out May Summer 2006)

Also, Natasha's Bedingfield's Unwritten sounds very 2006. SOS by Rihanna also. I vividly remember seeing the music video for that, sounds very advanced for its time.
