But seriously though, it’s quite telling to me that when we were actually living through the era, the biggest things people were complaining about were Justin Bieber and PewDiePie. And considering how beloved the latter is now, and how Bieber was, at worst, making bad pop music (and even that’s subjective), it really says a lot about how peaceful and calm the era was.

Based post slim. Early 10s is overrated. Pop culture was crappy, the economy was down and it is a precursor to the lackluster 2010s zeitgeist.
