What’s the official name and aesthetic for the era that’s not quite 2000s but not quite 2010s either. Electro pop is just a music genre not an entire aesthetic. This era isn’t core 2000s or 2010s so no McBling or Hipsters. What is it ?

Mid/Late 2009 - Mid 2011 = Slider Phone Era
Mid 2011 - Mid/Late 2013 = Early 10s

There really isn’t a defining name that encapsulates every single aspect of the era’s culture. If we’re talking aesthetics, it’s the Frutiger Aero era, if we’re talking music, call it the Electropop Era. If you REALLY want, you can call it the “Electropop Aero” era, to combine both aspects. You know what? That’s perfect. 2008-2011 was the Electropop Aero era.

You know what? That’s perfect. 2008-2011 was the Electropop Aero era. So basically nobody has made a catch all name for it yet. We’re still not there yet. Electro pop aero sounds ok

No, just no. The early 2010s, sure, but don't you DARE associate my beloved late 2000s with hipsters. It was more McBling than hipster if anything. Hipster era was 2011-2015. 2008-2010 was the Electropop 08 or Frutiger Aero Era.

Look online it would say that the modern hipster era was from the late 2000s to early 2010s.
