Music is about the only thing the 2020s are doing better in than the (late) 2010s.

The music is awesome in the early 2020s. Not original, but still very good and high quality.

We got a pandemic, high inflation, recessions, supply chain shortages, tense geopolitics and political polarization, climate crisis, the War in Ukraine (and a possibility of WW3 if China invades Taiwan), TikTok, Y2K-inspired clothing, movies and other programming being exclusively available on streaming platforms, foldable phones (and 5G connectivity), retro pop, "private" billionaire spaceflight, and 9th gen gaming.
That's all I have so far.

Aesthetics? Gray and rosy mauve with pops of brightness. Mid century modern meets contemporary 80's revival furniture. Neon signs and a return of brass. Tie-dye and y2k references. Relaxed fits. Soft neutrals against bold graphics. Chunky shoes. Statement jewelry with a juvenile flair.

Those commercials make me sick I hate them too. I want to escape from COVID, not be reminded of it constantly. God I’m so glad that era is over. Never again
