I’ll be the first to say I’m not really familiar with her, and I don’t watch her videos, but this is ridiculous. I mean, people think she literally insulted the lesbian community, but that’s not the case at all, considering she is one herself. She just doesn’t like the word, not the community.
People really do get offended by everything nowadays lmao

I have a theory that her coming out hasn't been so good for the brand, considering for years it was based on being content for kids that wasn't sexualized. Perhaps "lesbian" sounds more serious and more adult than the synonym for happy "gay" that has become a catchall term for the community. I also suspect lesbian would be harder to back track out of if she eventually does come out as bisexual.
