Trap Rap in the likes of 6ix9ine and XXXtentacion was more Late 2010s. The Blog/Swag era was so short lived, it just came and went. different eras of trap: Swag Rap/Pre-Trap Era (2008ish-2013) - not 100%, a transition between McBling and Trap. "Mumble Rap"/DJ Mustard Era (2013-2017) - no explanation. SoundCloud Era (2015-2018) Rage Era (2018-now) - think Playboi Carti and Yeat. Melodic Era (2019-now) Rage ? as in that new pop punk infused sound coming out now

Peak of rage rap/hyper rap is 2021-2022.

It has its own era: the electro-rap and swag era.
