The radio is playing old songs. Some that came out a few years ago, and some that came out 10 years ago or more. I think this is a result of the hyper-nostalgia trend we are in right now and the fact that artists are running out of ideas so there are less new songs being put out so the radio is just playing older songs now. It can also be a result of Tik Tok ressurecting older songs. This is something that never happened before 2020. Sometimes the radio would play an old song but it was 95% new songs. Now it seems it's only around 75% new songs and the rest are old songs.

tons of early 2010’s music being played lately. it never used to be like this. i don’t recall late 2000’s music being played in the late 2010’s

A few weeks ago, I was listening to the radio and noticed that the radio station I was listening to was playing Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars. This new decade sucks.
