PS3 & Wii launching felt so FUTURISTIC in 2006

I would say this gen when it started felt the most "futuristic" Aside from Xbox360 ( which I was not impressed by when it dropped in late 05)
when PS3 and Wii came out in late 06 it felt like things were finally changing with games. I have been around for a ton of video game generations
and this one in specific felt the most futuristic and forward thinking. We laugh about it now..however HD gaming was still relatively new. I was
blown away with the graphical jump at the time.
