It will be purely made by electronic hypnotic sounds and noises. There will be no more actual singers singing in a song. It will all be digital and computerized, completely electronic and robotic. This will be the norm for music in the year 2028. This music will dominate during perilous times. It will be truly a different time by the time we get to it. A lot of change has occured.

I think 2022 already gives some insight of the music of the rest of this decade. Overall, I can see the year being a very maximalist time for the charts, in contrast to how muted and downtuned a lot of 2018 was. Hyperpop influences a la "Unholy" will peak by then. Rock and retro influences might still be prominent, while samples from the 90s and 00s will be very common.
